I'm A GenZ Advocate & Talent Developer

For 15 years, I've been in the trenches of creating GenZ empowerment and skills programs. I've had the privilege of mentoring hundreds of GenZs as they learn about life, begin their careers, and embark on their futures.

I've ziplined across canyons and explored the VR universe with them, and even became the first female basketball coach of high school boys in my community. Through these experiences, I've learned how to earn their trust, motivate them, and help them make decisions about what they want out of life.

2013-present

The GO! Future Project

It has been an exhilarating decade filled with action-packed summer camps, high-energy leadership weeks, and empowering mentoring sessions for this program that I launched in 2013. It's so exciting to see 25 of these GenZs charging full speed ahead! They're diving headfirst into their careers or wrapping up degrees and certifications. The future is bright, and I can't wait to see what incredible adventures lie ahead for them!

Spring Break Tech Camp!

Year after year, starting from 2013, I've been rocking Spring Break Tech Week for GenZs at River City Youth Foundation in Austin! Our annual showstopper? SXSW, of course! At the electrifying 2023 event, we navigated The XR Experience like champs, interviewing masterminds and producers, and getting hands-on with the most cutting-edge tech from around the globe. Let me tell you, these GenZs are pumped, ready to leave their indelible mark on the world!

2016-2020

Coding Academy for K-12

I launched the Dove Springs Coding Academy in the summer of 2016. Our first graduation was a heartwarming moment filled with pride. I couldn't help but beam as I witnessed our young coding prodigies, our brilliant girl coders, and forward-thinking tech leaders, all passionately learning. These GenZs are well-equipped with skills that'll take them miles into the future!

2013-2015

GenTX Campaign

As a proud co-founder of this college & career readiness movement, I've had the incredible opportunity to share the transformative power of higher education with hundreds of thousands of GenZs across the Lone Star State. The movement was so strong even a former First Lady took it under her wings :)

2019-present

Skill Saturdays/LearnInATX

Just before the pandemic, I launched LearnInATX, an empowering skills crusade designed to support underserved GenZs in the heart of ATX. This project has illuminated their path to digital revolution success by fostering self-awareness and nurturing talent in the face of change. Central to the campaign is a series of Skill Saturdays which spark inspiration and skill development for the future's most promising minds.

Basketball - Coaching & Mentorship 🏀

Imagine the exhilaration of empowering hundreds of young athletes in Central Texas, as I've had the privilege to do as a trailblazing female basketball coach. Shattering the glass ceiling, I've proudly guided MS and HS boys' teams to greatness, forging a path for others to follow. Our electrifying journey extends beyond the court, instilling unshakable resilience, relentless determination, and an ironclad mindset. Together, we conquer challenges, defy limitations and elevate each other to achieve the extraordinary.
